Seventh Annual - Inflatable Seminar February 26, 2008 - Grantsville, PA

Did you know that if you rent inflatable rides in Pennsylvania you’re required to be licensed and attend a safety seminar every three years? This seminar can help you fulfill both obligations! This seminar includes study materials, notebook with all required forms, hands-on training, classroom training, and an explanation of the variance to the Amusement Ride Regulation 7 Pa. Code 139 and how it impacts the rental industry. This "variance" only affects the number and timing of required safety inspections and will not release a rental operator from any other obligations. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture will offer the "Class 1 Restricted Rental Certification" test immediately following the seminar. This test is not required if you are previously certified. This license certification will allow inspection of rental inflatable bounce, small slides and crawl rides for a three-year period. In addition to the registration fee, the certification fee is $50 per person payable by check only (payable to "Commonwealth of PA"). A separate check of $50 should be made out for each person and should be brought to the seminar.

The Pennsylvania Spring Amusement Ride Safety Seminar is sponsoring a one-day ride safety and state licensing school on Tuesday February 26, 2008, at The Holiday Inn Harrisburg -Hershey (I-81 Exit 80) in Grantville, Pennsylvania. 1) This school will train you and your employees in safety and inspection techniques. 2) The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture will offer the Class 1 Restricted Rental Certification test immediately following the seminar. This license certification will allow inspection of rental inflatable bounce, small slides and crawl rides for a three-year period. Please bring a check payable to Commonwealth of PA for $50 for the test or renewal fee if you have not already done so. 3) The agenda includes hands on training, classroom training, and an explanation of the new variance to the Amusement Ride Regulations 7Pa. Code 139 and how it affects the rental industry. 4) This is NOT the same seminar sponsored by the State Showman’s Association.
